Apply the Protein Reset Shampoo to wet hair and massage gently into the scalp to create a rich lather. Rinse thoroughly.

Follow with the Protein Reset Conditioner, applying generously through the mid-lengths and ends. Leave on for 2–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

For best results, use regularly whenever hair feels dry, brittle, rough, or overloaded from protein treatments.

If you use protein-rich products frequently such as products containing hydrolyzed keratin, soy, wheat, oat, vegetable protein and others, your hair can accumulate protein and cause protein build-up. Too much protein can absorb the moisture in your hair and cause it to become limp, heavy, brittle, dry, stringy and even prone to breakage. No, clarifying products promote a deep cleanse to remove impurities and should be used infrequently to prevent dryness. The Protein Reset line can be used weekly as it provides a mild cleanse and adds back moisture that ends up being absorbed when there's a protein overload.

Although formulated with curly-approved ingredients, this line is suitable for all hair types. It is especially good for low-porosity hair.
